On Tuesday 22nd March the Grand Superintendent announced that the Deputy Grand Superintendent Brian Jackson would retire at the Provincial Grand Chapter Meeting on 11th May 2005 and appointed  Steven P J Reid in his stead. The Investiture took place on that date.

On 22nd April 2004 at Preston Guildhall, Terry Hudson, Assistant to the Provincial Grand Principals was invested as 2nd Provincial Grand Principal, and Chris Band was appointed as Assistant to the Provincial Grand Principals in his stead taking responsibility for the Chapters on the Fylde

At the South Fylde Group Dinner on Wednesday 30th March 2005, the Deputy Provincial Grand Master announced that Leon Tax,  had been appointed Assistant Provincial Grand Master and invested him  at the Provincial Grand Lodge at Blackpool Winter Gardens on 23rd May 2005. 

He has assumed the duties formerly undertaken by Steven Reid with respect to the Blackpool and South Fylde Groups of Lodges.

Eric Picton,  has been appointed Group Chairman of the South Fylde Group of Lodges and has been succeeded as Group Vice Chairman by Simon Walker.  Simon has in turn been succeeded by Ian Ward as Group Secretary.
